Acoustic louvres

Where space is limited, Bradgate acoustic louvres provide excellent sound attenuation and good protection from the weather, even over shorter lengths. They are manufactured in a variety of paint finishes and can be colour-matched to a customer’s specification.

 

Construction

Single-blade and chevron-blade louvres are manufactured with a 1.6mm zintec/galvanised steel top section, with an acoustic infill of resin-bonded mineral fibre.

 

Fibre characteristics

  • Non-hydroscopic
  • Chemically inert
  • Non-combustible to BS476 Part 4 1981
  • 45kgs/m3 in density
  • V under-section formed from 1.6mm galvanised steel mesh.

Blade assembly

  • A 1.6mm zintec/galvanised steel channel frame
  • Standard 50 x 50 x 6mm fixing flange which can be drilled to suit the required mounting.


Type SB and Type CB

The velocity is approximately 7.5m/sec/1500 ft/min. Variations may occur depending on the application. Alternative velocity requirements can be achieved.
